We are a local "mission" program for the people in Canyon. It enables the citizens of Canyon to help people in need, here in their own backyard.

Mission
 

Our goal is to demonstrate God's love by
providing free home repairs for people in
need.
 
  To get people warm, safe, and dry.
 

We also want to give Christians and others
the opportunity to put their faith into
action by serving their neighbors.
 

Participate
 

You can help Backyard Mission by either:
 

Donating money or material for projects
 

Helping our team through a variety of
important services.

 

How It Works
 

Homeowners who need repairs done, but
cannot provide for this need themselves,
apply to Backyard Mission for help.
 
 

Backyard Mission board will discuss each
application.

 
 

Backyard Mission will provide the
volunteers and materials needed for the
project.
 
Backyard Mission is open to all in need. It is operated out of First United Methodist Church in Canyon. It is not budgeted by FUMC and works solely off of private donations. Donations should go to FUMC Backyard Mission.
